External groups

This section is very similar to the Groups section, but can only be found if you have an active IP Telephony channel. Here you can also create, edit and delete external groups and last but not least assign existing users to external groups.

Here you will find:

  • default group (All contacts)

  • other existing groups

  • button to create a new contact contact

  • search box

The External Groups section can be accessed by users with Tenant Administrator or Company Administrator permissions.

Operators will also encounter external groups when handling telephone calls. More details can be found in the section For operators.
